What is GSB?
Granular Sub-Base. It is a reduced specification than our 5/8" minus. Used for landscaping projects and general use fill material.
What is the best product for road or driveway maintenance?
For freshening up your road or driveway it is best to use our 5/8" or 1" minus. If you have some muddy sink holes and/or flooding areas, you should add a good sub base layer, then base layer, before applying your maintenance layer.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We do accept credit cards, for an additional fee, as we have to cover our processing costs.
Are you available outside of normal business hours?
Yes. We can be available to meet your needs if you have certain times you need to meet for you project.
Are partial dump truck loads available?
Yes. We can deliver a partial load but the hauling charge remains the same.
How much space is needed for delivery equipment?
You need at least 12 foot wide for the truck to drive down, and a clearance of 30 feet high to power/overhead lines.
Can we bring our own equipment to the pit for pickup?
Yes. We would be glad to load your trucks / trailers / pickups for a nominal minimum pit fee.
Do you have boulders for landscaping?
Yes. We often have larger rocks that we can't feed into our crusher that are available for landscaping.
Do you dig footings and foundations?
Yes. We do all forms of construction excavation projects.
Do you provide customer financing?
No we do not. If you have a big project that you want us to perform, you will have to get financing through your bank or credit union.
Are you able to spread the gravel?
Yes. Our drivers are all able to spread the load out of the dump truck when delivered.
How much area does a 12 yard load cover?
On average a 12 yard load covers an area of 10 feet wide, by 100 feet long, 3 inches deep.
